The Royal Thai Air Force UAV Team? That's us – a bunch of super motivated Air Cadets diving headfirst into the world of cool drone tech. We've got people from all sorts of engineering backgrounds, like aeronautical, electrical, mechanical, software – the whole deal.

We're big on teamwork and coming up with new ideas to build drones that can actually help out in real-world situations. Basically, we're learning by doing, getting awesome hands-on experience that'll probably come in handy down the road in defense tech.

Background and Role

Squadron Leader Jintasit Pravitra, a technical advisor for the RTAF UAV team specializing in airframe assembly, wiring integration, and structural design, directly mentors cadets in hands-on UAV construction and systems implementation. His guidance ensures student projects meet operational standards and reflect cutting-edge aerospace practices, furthering the Academy’s commitment to technological excellence.

Our team captain is the go-to expert for software development, AI algorithms, and real-time embedded systems. Because of his work, our UAVs are able to operate with a lot of precision and can adapt to different situations.

Our Communication Leader possesses significant expertise in communication engineering and the design of resilient network systems. He is responsible for establishing and maintaining secure, real-time communication links between our UAVs and ground stations. His role is critical to ensuring uninterrupted control and the continuous flow of telemetry data, which are essential for the successful and precise execution of complex autonomous missions.

He is really organized and skilled at logistics. His role is to ensure the hardware, software, communication, and media groups work together smoothly, making sure we use our resources well and stay on schedule. On top of that, he also leads our media efforts, focusing on capturing and sharing what our team does, our successes, and our new ideas with everyone else.
