Mission Ready: RTAF UAV Team Set to Compete at SUAS 2025 🌐📡🔥
The RTAF UAV team is now fully prepared to compete for victory at SUAS 2025. Both the primary and backup UAVs have successfully completed a series of mission-based flight tests, with all systems operating exactly as expected. The results were highly satisfactory, validating system performance, integration, and mission-readiness. These trials have strengthened our confidence in achieving operational success on the international stage.
To further enhance operational flexibility and mission assurance, the team has introduced a third UAV—Pegasus 04—into the fleet. This addition provides an extra layer of redundancy and allows the team to adapt swiftly to any mission dynamics during the competition. With three fully capable UAVs—each tested, tuned, and certified—the RTAF UAV team has effectively eliminated all weak points in the system, ensuring maximum readiness.
Notably, today’s flight marked the final mission test before disassembly and packing for international transport. This last full-mission rehearsal simulated the complete SUAS 2025 mission profile, including:
